Sewing

As the title suggests, I have had a fair bit of sewing to do today. I got a new pair of ballet flats, demi-pointes, and pointe-shoes. This doesn't sound that bad, but just think...on each pair of shoes, something needs to be sewn. The ballet flats: the elastic. The demi-pointes: the elastic and the ribbons. The pointe-shoes: the elastic and the ribbons. I also have to pancake my tutu, which involves stitching a few of the layers of the tutu together so that it isn't fluffy. Just writing this down still doesn't make it sound like there is much work to do. But I'll put into perspective for you...I have been sewing for about 3-3.5 hours, and all I got done was sew the elastics on the three sets of ballet shoes. Now, girls who can actually sew, or get their mums to sew are lucky. Me and my mum are unfortunately both very, very terrible at sewing, and we don't enjoy it at all. And because we don't have a sewing machine, we have to hand stitch everything! Haha. So...hopefully now you either feel or understand my pain. Haha, all for the love of dance. When the ribbons are on my pointe shoes and demi-pointes, I have to break them in, which is hard for me because I don't have the greatest feet in the world.
Now, I'm going to assume that most people don't know what I'm talking about. So the above shoes that I have been sewing are for ballet.
Ballet flats are merely practice shoes, demi-pointes are like an introduction to pointe shoes, except that in demi-pointes, you don't stand on your toes, they're the same shape as pointe shoes just without the really hard end so it trains you to shift your weight correctly for when you are wearing pointe shoes. And pointe shoes...well, most people would know what they were if they saw them. These are the shoes that you stand on your toes in, and they have what is called a 'block' in the end to support your feet so you don't go busting your toes bad. Haha.

The shoe on the left is one day old.
The shoe on the right is one year old.
Oh yeah, these are ballet flats.
Haha

So I'm sure you guys are sick of hearing me complain about ballet shoes and sewing, so I'll change the subject.

I washed my hair last night, and now it smells amazing because I'm using a reeeeally good and expensive shampoo. So in a sec I'll go and straighten my hair so it's not an afro or defying gravity or frizzy or whatever you want to say to discribe my natural hair. Haha

I got my timetable for dancing the other day, and I only get one early day. And that day finishes at 3.00pm. Haha wooh..soooo early.

OH! I went through the 'Like A Boss' song that I posted in my previous post just now and counted how many times they said "Like A Boss" and just "boss" in the beginning and end. And the tally is:

Like A Boss: 39
boss (beginning and end): 6
GRAND TOTAL: 45 "boss's" in the song haha.
And after listening to it and writing it and all, the word has sort of lost all meaning, you know how when you say a word too many times and it just doesn't sound right or make sense anymore. That has happened at present for the word 'boss' haha.

Well, I'm kind of out of things to say at the moment...so I'll leave you guys to it, if you are even reading this.
K bye

OH! Hang on...
Chuck Norris and Superman once fought as a bet. The loser had to wear his underwear on the outside of his pants forever.
